What is sun protective clothing?
Sun protective clothing features everyday lightweight fabrics either treated with a proprietary UV inhibitor or woven to eliminate the penetration of harmful UV rays to your skin. Sun protective clothing eliminates the need to apply inconvenient and messy sunscreens.

What should I look for in sun protective clothing?
Understand that all fabrics are not all the same - threads and weave vary. Cottons, for example, tend to have a poor UPF rating due to the nature of the weave. Canvas and denim have a high UPF rating but are heavy and too hot for sunny, hot situations. A typical summer-weight cotton t-shirt has a UPF of about 7, and even less when wet. Sun Solutions garments offer the lightest weight fabrics (generally 3 ounces per yard), allowing you to have full coverage in the hottest conditions. Our clothing also wicks moisture away from the body.

Are there special instruction as far as the wash and care?
No, these fabrics are easy to keep clean. They are machine washable and stain resistant!

How long will it take to receive my order? If the order is received before 3 pm EST your order will ship the same day. Delivery will take 3-4 days. UPS and Express service is also available on an individual basis. International orders are also handled on an individual basis.
